DSC_0002.jpgFirst night in Dublin we ended up at The Farm (at 3 Dawson Street) by accident. It turned out to be a good one. The place itself is small and cosy and the walls are covered in amazing animal prints. The menu is based around locally produced and/or organic ingredients and I love the fact they tell you where your meat have lived before it ends up on your plate. They also have amazing staff, so nice and on the table they put a thing that looks like a doorbell so if you ever need anything you just have to push the button and they will be at your table surprisingly fast.

We had the honour of eating their new winter menu. The menu is broad, I would say they serve classics with a modern twist and the portions is huge! The prices is good I would say, a main course is around €20, and you really get the value in the big portions. We ate everything from the biggest hamburger I’ve ever seen, to Irish salmon, duck with ginger and sesame-quinoa and I chose the venison pie with sweet-potato mash. It tasted amazing! So autumnal and homely, just what I needed after a long day of travels.

I really recommend to pay them a visit if you ever have the chance. Not only do they have a good a la carte, they also serve lunch and have an ‘early bird’-menu served between 3-7 costing €22.95 for 2 courses or 3 courses for €26.9
