Merry christmas and happy holidays to you all! We have just been eating christmas-lunch and now we’re waiting for Donald Duck. Every year at 3 p.m everyone (and I mean everyone!) sits down to watch Donald Duck “From all of us to all of you” from 1958 and it have been aired on channel one since 1959. Its a collection of short-stories from the ’30s to the ’60s and every tear they change the last clip to a new one. Wonder what it would be this year?
After Donald Duck (or Kalle Anka as his name is in Sweden) Santa (or jultomten) comes and hand out presents. Then its time for port, swedish cheesecake with whipped cream and cloudberries and ris’a la malta.
Hope you all have a wonderful christmas and take care of each other! xo
Some of your traditions are very similar to the Danish ones I grew up with. 🙂 Since hearing about the Tomten I’ve been collecting books about him and really love them. 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
