Yey! It’s already Friday and I couldn’t be more excited. I have a great weekend to look forward to – tonight I’m going to try the new Mexican place here in Jönköping and tomorrow its tapas-time with movies with my best friend. It’s going to be great!
This is an old favorite of mine, I make this smootiebowl way to often for being a foodie. We should want to invent new recipes right? But this is just too good not to eat all the time – as breakfast, middle day snack, lunch or dinner. It always works!
I got the inspiration from a juicebar here in Sweden called “Naked Juice Bar”, and I completely fell in love with the sweet and sour taste from the banana and lemon.
1 frozen banana (in slices)
1 frozen lemon (also in slices)
0,5 cup orange juice
0,5 cup vanilla yoghurt
4 tbsp buckthorn or mango purée
1 tsp vanilla extract
+ toppings of choice (try my Healthy Banana Bread Granola)
And you have to do this (its so easy!);
Add all ingredients except the toppings into a blender and blend until smooth (you may have to add in some more liquid if it gets really thick). Add toppings of choice (in this case; fresh raspberries and my banana bread granola). Enjoy!
